What is Awana?
Awana is an exciting program for kids, age 2 through sixth grade. Each club night has a fun-filled game program, Bible memorization, and a speaker for kids, along with songs and special music. Awards are earned for activities and memorization completed. There are special activities for each group!
What does “Awana” mean?
It stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”, taken from II Timothy 2:15.
What is Awana’s goal?
To reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to train them to serve Him.
How do I get involved?
Come join us as we meet every Wednesday night beginning the 2nd week of September and continuing through the 3rd week of May each year! We start at 6:50pm and end at 8:30pm.
What does it cost?
A new and simpler registration fee of $25 per child has been implemented this year. The fee includes a handbook for your child's age group.
There is no longer the collection of .50 dues each Wednesday.
Our goal to is to make Awana available to all children and families who want to participate. If there any questions regarding the fees, please contact the Awana office staff. We want to help your children enjoy the benefits of this program.
Uniforms and handbooks bags are also available for purchase.
What if I have questions?
Call the church office (856-784-6200) and speak to the Awana Commander, Senior Pastor Rick Lyon and Co-Commander Rev. Gary Goodrow!
Registration
There is a specific registration form (listed below) for each of the Awana age groups. Please download the form, complete, and bring it to registration night September 12th at 6:30pm in the church gymnasium.
